Best quality is subjective but acceptable is Napa/WIX had no issues so far. OEM mopar kit was 50 bucks Napa was 33.

So many people have had drainback issues with non-OEM, the small savings is just not worth having to take it all apart again. On-line MOPAR dealers have discounted pricing if you can wait a few days.

Hmm, tough one. I've had a USA made (not OEM) split on me and I replaced it with a China made filter with no issues.

Hang on an a minute. We need to get realistic about this. We're talking about a filter that's going on a vehicle that has been designed with:

- an FCV that strips its plastic gears
- an EGR that sticks and needs regularly replaced
- windows that are held up using tiny pieces of plastic that break
- glow plugs that disintegrate in the engine
- CAC hoses that split
- a fuel head that melts
- fuel lines that leak air
- lower ball joints that fall apart
- rear control arms that fail due to rust
- ...
- ...
- ..

...and where was this vehicle made? It sure as hell wasn't China! No, this is good ol' North American engineering at it's finest.

You really trust OEM? I think the least of your worries should be where your filter is made. Go with a known quality brand and assume they've got their QC in order if they've outsourced some of their manufacturing to China.

Now if you're buying US for idealistic reasons then more power to you.
