I just installed a set of Cree 5watt LED reverse lights and wow!

If anyone likes to see behind them in the dark I recommend these.
3156 3056 3157 3057 3457 4157 T20 5W CREE LED Reverse Wedge Bulbs - Retro-Solutions Store

They are roughly $40 for a pair with $2-$3 shipping but are definately worth it for the person who doesn't want aux. lighting hanging off the back of their vehicle!

For all of you not following this thread on jeepkj.com

Just throwing it out there that the camera does not do these justice! They are probably 20% brighter with further reach than what is shown. Also, I am back against the start of a huge hill, so the reach of them shown is not as far as it would be on flat ground! It was actually lighting up more than half the hill upwards, although my camera didn't pick that up in the pictures...

The stock KJ reverse lights are most definitely weak. This looks like an affordable solution. Thanks for the link.

Sweet! I've been hating the generally-useless stock reverse lights since I bought this Jeep; figured I'd have to install some auxiliary lights, but I like this solution much better.

Thanks for posting this. I've already ordered a pair.

You won't regret it. It does make it nice that they are a direct plug and play. No modification required!

You know you could have just bought LED bulbs. They make some super brite ones.

I run these and they are extremely brite............

No mods needed unless you use them for the blinkers.

I wonder how these would stack up?
