Replaced the Thermostat and put the fuel rail back on top of the intake manifold. Re-attached the fuel/water seperator and reconnected the wiring harnesses on both sides. I replaced the Hex Head bolt on the Viscous heater with something closer to everything else in that area so I wouldn't have to get a stupid alan wrench next time.

Reconnected all connections on wiring harness and cleaned the injectors and replaced O-Rings on them.

I'm still waiting for the Copper Crush Washers for my Fuel Injectors, they should be at the dealer tomorrow....

New tires - Firestone Destination LE2 in standard size.
The Jeep came with very good condition Goodyear Wrangler ST's however the rear tires broke loose too easily on freeway entrance ramps. I didn't buy the Liberty for "drifting" LOL

I put the Michelin Latitude Tours on my one Jeep, it still breaks loose on the grit with the Hot tune, the other one I have been putting on Goodyear Wranglers ST's as there are a lot of them on Ebay and I am equipped to mount them on the rims.

I replaced my Serpentine belt with a Gates one from Amazon, seemed a 1/2 shorter than my OEM one that only has 30k on it. I also swapped one of my serpentine idler pulleys. I have been hearing a chirp sound close to what my Alt. pulley sounded like, and when I did my timing belt two months ago I noticed my idler pulleys looked a little old (100k on them). I only bought one of the Gates pulleys from Amazon (36101) because I wasn't sure how it would fit. And I plan on going back to OEM soon because I do not like the quality of the Gates, and it is made in China not Canada.

See here for my pulley pictures: http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=69705&p=782637#p782637

Today I changed the oil, (Using a Wix filter and Shell Rotella), cleaned my MAP sensor, greased my u-joints, and checked my transmission fluid. Good time with the Jeep, because nothing was broken.

At http://www.crateenginedepot.com the MAP sensor is 17.48 and the O Ring is $2.95, makes the total $20.43 + shipping.

Kind of crazy.... :furious:

Well today... err Yesterday...

I skid plated it (oem)
lifted it (ome)
bearing-ed it (timkinx2)
UCA'd it for a bad ball joint
installed the rear air deflector
installed Tow hooks
Changed tranny oil and filter
changed both axle fluids

and put the summer tires on

It seems to run much better now that it isnt having to haul the weight of all that extra cash around. I Emptied Every Pocket

Changed the fuel filter and the air filter. First time I have changed the fuel filter. To remove the filter, i unbolted the filter head, unscrewed the filter, pulled the filter head towards the front of the jeep, and raised then filter straight up. I installed the new filter in the reverse order.

Had the rear lower control arm recall done Saturday. :| I examined the old parts and they seemed solid. No outward signs of degradation.

Installed a fire extinguisher. I used 10 inch piece of C channel aluminum mounted to the passenger seat frame, then mounted the fire extinguisher mount to that.
