Hey fellas, I am planning on setting a baseline service interval this weekend. Nothing to extreme but looking to help the little tractor make it past my loan payoff date! Here is a list of parts I'm going to treat it to, let me know if I should change brand or missed anything:

- Oil Filter: M1 - 301 (for the 7 qt. cap.) Local purchase
- Oil: M1 TDT 5w-40 (summer flavor) Local purchase
- Air Filter: MANN P/N(MA1041) Local purchase
- Fuel Head: P/N(68043089AA) with wiring kit P/N(68043086AB) Ordered 4.10.13
- Samco Boost Hoses: Red with clamp kit
- Exhaust: MBRP P/N(S5510409) [straight pipe exhaust is annoying] Ordered 4.10.13
- Speaker: Foam repair kit from eBay Ordered 4.10.13
- Fumoto Valve: F-102 Ordered 4.10.13
- Liftpump: AirTex EM7181M Ordered 4.11.13
- Pins: 54001800 (female) and 54001801 (male) Ordered 4.11.13
- Tool: 5400EXT Ordered 4.11.13

This should be a good start. The following weekend I'll look at upgrading/replacing the remaining fluids. I know I should get the GDE tune also! Still researching which tune I should get. I did verify the TC was upgraded via warranty work in 2008 (extended warranty). Not sure if this is a good one or not. I just hit 70k miles and have had the EGR, transmission and power steering lines, turbo drain line, tie-rods, thermostat, and rear lower control arms replaced before I picked it up. I seem to only be getting 22 MPG with 50/50 hwy (55-65 construction) and city mix. Hopefully the above parts will help a bit. All for now!

Thanks,
Brian

Few more questions, would the MANN ML1022 be a better filter than the M1-301? What size copper washer is used for the drain plug? Should I also replace the Mopar fuel filter that comes with the new fuel head with a MANN filter?

Thanks,
Brian

P.S. I have read Sam's Noob guide and did not post the picture as it wasn't playing nicely with my computer at the moment.

You need to add GDE FT ECO Tune, and Fumoto Valve to your list.

Scratch that copper washer.

Well I also decided to tackle the lift pump upgrade! Sounds like it should be a great investment. I am going to add pins to the existing harness rather then purchase a new gas version. I'll let you know how it goes.

Well got everything installed/upgraded except for the Fumoto valve. I must have ordered the wrong one as it seems a bit to small or the threads weren't quite right. I thought F-102 was the correct value? Are there different thread sizes for this part number?

The previous owner may have already stripped the pan and retapped it to a bigger size. I would take your old plug to a shop and see what thread size it is, then order the correct fumoto for that.

I ran into exact same problem as PO had stripped the oil pan and re tapped one size over so F104S was installed and the new one came with a small plastic nipple for easy drain into gallon jugs and no mess.

Are the pins an item you have to order a million of just to get a few? I will be tackling the lift pump soon as well. Notice any difference with it installed? Thanks.
