This is the biggest mistake I have ever made. This is the noisiest car/suv/truck I have ever been in. Since the lift was put in I have had nothing but creeks, thuds, and squeels coming from the suspension. I paid extra to have jeepin by al assemble it before it was sent so I can only assume the struts are not bad . I have greased and checked the tq on the endlinks and I cannot budge them by hand so they have to be tight. I even purchased the gen 5.5 jba control arms. I emailed jba with no response and I don't expect one. Anyone have any ideas?

It happens when I hit the slightest bump or dip. I also enlarged the control arm pockets

So what's happening? Clunks or creeks? Front or rear? Who did the install?

With everything installed correctly, everything tightened when its suppose to be ( i.e. sway bar and UCAs tightened when full weight on the ground) there should be no noise . Now when first installed there maybe some due to changing angles of the suspension but not for miles and miles
I've done over 20 here have helped with another 6 -8 and never had any issues

Did the guy installing it know what he was doing?
Did he tighten the UCAs and sway bar links on the ground?
Lots of things he could of done wrong and because he is a Master tech doesn't mean he did it right.

Ill buy it if you take it off.. You let a bowtie tech work on it that's not good lol jk... It could be the shocks or struts maybe just a bad set

I'd just about bet that the upper control arms were tightened while it was in the rack. I made the mistake of tightening mine while it was on jackstands, it was pretty noisy. Try loosening the upper control bolts, then with jeep on the ground.

Well right there is one issue,
loosen them with tires on the ground and retighten them. It may take care of it or part of it, have to remember you've driven it now with that extra pressure on the bushings so???

Tom is right all suspension torque should be applied when its under load (on the ground). Torque values are all in the service manual, you can use the KJ values as the front end is the same. The consequences are that bushings can eventually tear and will of course be noisy on the way.

No one asked about proper bumpstops. You may have damaged shocks if you didn't have them installed.

The 1st 2 are loose parts or mis-algned parts, the 2nd two are from bushings.

If you did not install a adjustable rear trackbar that can be some of your noises as the rear diff is no longer centered.Rear shocks being loose is another big noise maker as most aftermarket shocks require some mods to be noise free on the rear. And like Tom and other said the front end must be torque with the full weight on the front suspension.

yes i have terraflex bumpstops in the front. The guy who did it said he cant get to it until the middle of the week or so but he said he will retorque everything on the ground. he was able to get the alignment spot on though. i have to drive this jeep to work so i hope i am not damaging it by driving it until middle of the week, if this doesnt work, i am going back to stock, I cant take that my 2012 liberty sounds like a rattle death trap.

also on my gen 5.5 JBA UCA's the washer that sits between the ball joint and the knucle just rattles in there, you cannot tighten the ball joint nut anymore. the ball joint just gets too big for the hole so the washer rattles around in there. is this normal?

That washer,if it's the thin one, goes directly under the castle nut,not on the boot side.

Hi tjkj, now that we´re talking about trackbars I wonder:

What is the maximun height (lift) that the stock trackbar can resist?

Is a 3'' Lift with stock trackbar ok?

Thank you!

3 inch is pushing it as it will be close to the drive shaft etc
