I get on the highway kick it down run up to 75 and then set the cruise
I'm not going to be the pokey one holding up traffic getting up to speed
I get better mileage at 72 than I do at 60

I get better mileage at 50-55 than anything else. Mileage tanks after 68...

Before the SFA swap my best mpg's was at 78mph with 4.10's and 32" tires which was just a tad under 22mpg's,from 55mph-70mph it would struggle to get 14mpg's as the trans would hunt all the time and bog the engine. Before being lifted and running stock sized tires and stock 3.73's I got over 24mpg's on the highway at about 75mph.Now with the SFA,5.13's and 35" tires I get the best mpg's between 68mph-70mph which is 18mpg's.

At 2150rpm, mine used to do 75, according to the GPS. Speedo said 72ish but it had a lift and tires.

In my Libby with the 5 speed I get the best mileage from 60 and just a hair over 2K (23mpg). if I speed up to 65 it is 19 mpg and at 70-75, 17 mpg.

Well, I have to say that my newly aquired 2002 Cherokee (Liberty) 2.5 CRD Ltd (5 spd man with 115,000 miles) is at its best sitting at 2600(ish) rpm (about 70 - 75 mph) where it averages 34 mpg (UK glns) and the best I've seen around town is 27 mpg.

So I guess the ole' KJ ain't doing too bad. :D

Cheers
Andrew
