Hey tomm! What would be close to the driveshaft? the gas tank skid?

On your econolift the trackbar is not in the description, Only in the suggestion so it will add 340$ to the lift.

Does that means tha trackbar is not completly necessary?

UPDATE:

so i retorqued my control arm bolts while on the ground(loosend them first and bounced the libery a few time to help set them). Pasanger side I was able to get a TQ wrench in there and get both bolts to 100FT lbs (10 more then recomended). Drivers side i could get the front bolt torqued to 100 but the back one i couold not fit the torque wrench but was able to hit it good with a good airgun. I did not put a TQ wrench on the sway bar links cause he packed it up but we did hit them good with a good air gun.

90% of my noises went away but on speed bumps i still get some noise if i go faster over them. I also still get some light squeels from time to time as well.

more livable but not silent. any other ideas? I am thinking since i got HD front springs I will just hear more noise......truth to that?

So lets review for a moment
1) how long have you had it lifted now?
2) has it been aligned if lifted recently ? I assume it has

Now all new springs take a while to seat in and you will get a few noises until they do. You have changed everything in the suspension and lifted it more than what it was used to running at.
Best thing is to take it out and twist it up some to make sure everything is seated in then see how it does .
Mine makes no noises at all but its got over 60,000 on its second lift now

some of that noise may have been there before and now youre just searching for it since you had problems with it before. glad you got it sorted out though. for future reference dont worry about overtorqueing the hardware to make sure its good and tight. there are specifications for a reason, overtorqued hardware could potentially be farther stressed and someday crack or fail.

no noises before, still not 100% sorted though, still far from quiet or should i say stock quietness. would that extra 10lbs make that much of a diffrence in the bad direction?

lift has no been on for maybe a little less than 200 miles?

it might be worth taking a Silicon based spray and hitting the sway bar bushings
and the shock mounts - anywhere there's polymer bushing

might just be dry and squeaking

After I put on my first lift I noticed every creek, moan and groan the Jeep made for weeks. I think I was 'expecting' some noises so I was more sensitive to them. Now things have 'quieted' down.

Give it some time and more miles and things should get better. Take it down some bumpy dirt roads and bang it around some to help 'settle in'.

So far I really like them, I'll find out more next weekend when I hook up my camper to the Jeep. I'm hoping they keep the KJ level.

He's running the Sensa-Trac Load Adjusting Shocks, not regular Sensa Tracs
They do great, I've had mine on for over 3.5 years and over 60,000 miles,
he's had his on for a couple of months now
Marlon_JBT has them on his KK for a couple of years now as well .

Keep them clean, nothing needed
but if you do no grease since it will deteriorate the bushings

Not sure unlifted but lifted you have to do a small amount of trimming on the spring pad to get enough room to mount them, KKs you don't have to

now the sound went away, i bet the sound came back due to all the rain we hd? maybe getting them wet does that? anyway i doused the bushings in silicone spray.

i still have a pretty good thud noise when i hit bumps. does anyone know if the ball joints come pre greased? do i need to add more?
