I just installed a set of Cree 5watt LED reverse lights and wow!

If anyone likes to see behind them in the dark I recommend these.
3156 3056 3157 3057 3457 4157 T20 5W CREE LED Reverse Wedge Bulbs - Retro-Solutions Store

They are roughly $40 for a pair with $2-$3 shipping but are definately worth it for the person who doesn't want aux. lighting hanging off the back of their vehicle!

Not sure on these 5w CREEs...

But...

i run the 5w cree version they are very bright and cheap...

i run the 23 x Hi Power 5630 SMD LEDs. for brake lights and they are awesome

The CREE are 335 Lumens

The 5630 are 520 Lumens

You know you could have just bought LED bulbs. They make some super brite ones.

I run these and they are extremely brite............

No mods needed unless you use them for the blinkers.

I wonder how these would stack up?

The super brite ones are 220 Lumens

a 22 watt LED would put out 1320 lumens , at 60 lumens to a watt, an low end rating for a LED normally somewhere between 60 and 80 lumens per watt

Just installed a pair of the LED backup lights last week. Work as advertised.....quite an improvement.
