I've always wondered how good these driveshafts really are. Do they have a high rate of failure? Can they explode just like the ones in the v6 mustang when it exceeds 113 mph?

The drive shafts in the KJs hold up well through a lot of offroad abuse and I have had mine as heavy as it is around 115 a few times. But they are like anything else you do proper maintenance on them and they will last the life time of the vehicle.
