If you've made sure everything is tightened, torqued, screwed on, lubed, greased, all that good stuff then it may just be something you have to deal with. My Jeep creeks when I'm off road, hell, my seat just started creaking yesterday out of no where when I was off roading. Jeeps creak and leak, that's what reminds us their Jeeps.

You sure it's not the lift and something else rubbing?

all these posts i read and hear from say there OME/jba a-arm kits are as quiet as stock. is this not true? how noisy are your setups? and what are your setups?

my a-arms contact the springs but that's because I have 1/2" spacers above the coil overs and a 3/8" clevis drop. If I were to clock the springs I think that would change significantly but for now I have more important things to worry about. I don't want to mess with the set-up until i replace the tires with the ones I want but gears and trutracs first.
How noisy is it? Can you narrow the location down? You have to admit though, the ride is much better.

the ride is awsome, maybe i will try to clock the springs, it could be the a arm hitting ill get a pic, the clevis is not all the way touching the spring perch, ill grab a pic of it. still doesnt explain my squeek issue.

After my lift I had a squeak that drove me nuts. It was the lower clevis bolt tab rubbing.

Bent the tab out a little and all is good!

I had terrible sounds coming from the suspension after I lifted it. Going over speed bumps you would just hear a massive "CLUNG" after the front end passed over it. It was so bad I was actually texting tommud trying to figure out what it could be. Got it aligned for a second time and the second shop knew what they were doing and torqued everything down properly and haven't had the noise since

my fear is that its the uper control arm bushings, cause i did put like 400ish miles on themnot torques correct and they made terrible noises. i would really hate to go back to stock. on small bumps it sounds like something is really loose, i hear thuds and thumps, like bottoming out.

Exactly what was happening to me! I would wait and see what they say and hopefully it is just something as simple as a bolt not being torqued. I put probably closer to 800 miles on the lift before finally getting the sound to stop.

I hope that fixes it for ya. Bottom line when someone else works on it, go back over "everything " yourself. We have all been through it . The lug nuts were not tightened on mine and I believe that Toms transmission bolts were loose and caused him problems. Buy yourself a good torque wrench as insurance. Its sad that things like that happen but even at good shops there are slip ups.

Yea. They strut bushings seem to be bad, the internal ones cause they checked everything and they can feel the vibration in the shock body. I'll be buying a new one toniteand sending back the bad one. Also they had to lift the strut in the clevis as something was hitting the spring purch on bbigger bumps. All is quiet now except the sqweek which is a lot quitter now too. They sprayed silicone lubricant on the shock shaft. I can almost live with the noise now its quiter but ill get arb to replace under warranty

i wish....

now those of you with the HD OME lift still feel a tiny bit more roadvibration and noise due to the stiffness in the new springs right?
