'Sup guys. i hardly ever post here but do a lot of reading as you are all so informative. Slapped a Frankenlift on the Renny last week so now am among the ranks of "the lifted". Love the ride and the difference is dramatic! ! !

Anywho, i have purchased and was going to upgrade my plugs from stock to NGK Iridiums. When i checked the dealer for proper gap space (yeah, told me is was printed in the engine bay) he said to stick w/Champion Copper as some were swithing to Iridium plugs and having problems w/misfiring, fouling (i didn't even tell what plugs i was putting in). SO. . . . . puttin' the feelers out to find if any you have had experience w/this :?:

I still swear by Bosch Platinums. Not those fancy Splitfires or +4 thingies either. Just good old Bosch Platinums are what you'll find in all 6 of my cylinders.

Your dealer isn't recommending OEM NGK V-powers?! You can't go wrong w/ the NGK's. As far as the iridiums or platinums, you might get more miles between plug changes but that is about it.

I would suggest, in this order: NGK, Bosch and then Densos as The best plugs on the market.

i've ran ngk and champ plugs and like them both. I stick with the basic plug copper and change them often.

I changed the factory NGK's and they eroded so bad the gap was twice of what is supposed to be,I'll never run NGK's again they are plain junk.Denso plugs are some of the best,my buddies use them for drag racing with no problems and 2 of my buds are pushing a 1000 HP with nitrous!I'm currently running autolites platuim plugs, they'll last some time and I love good 'ol autolites, the best for the price.Sorry if this ofends anybody but I wouldn't use champion plugs if I was trying to blow up a moter, just the same as using pennzoil oil.

Its an engine, not a motor. Motors run off of electricity.

The NGK's had 17,000 miles on them,sorry I know it's a engine and not a motor.Sometimes my hands don't type what I'm thinking.

I just replaced the stock NGK with the irridum, it seems to run smoother too.

I jut put NGK Iridiums in yesterday. My throttle response is noticeably better, but then again, with how worn out the stock plugs were, I could have put 4th of July sparklers in there and seen an improvement.
