Which Crager 15" series 397 (black steel) rim do I want on my STOCK '05? I plan on running 235/75r15 or 30x9.50r15 tires.

3975713 15X7 5X4.5 +6 4 1/4" bs

3975813 15X8 5X4.5 +6 4 3/4"bs

3975812 15X8 5X4.5 -12 4"bs

Assuming that I understand how backspacing works:

The stock 7" rims have 5.5" backspacing, so going to an 8" rim with 4" bs will push the outside of your rims out 2 1/2"--probably more than you're looking for.

The 15x7 with 4 1/4" bs will move them out by 1 1/4", and the 15x8 with 4 3/4" bs will move them out by 1 3/4". I'd say either would work, but 7" should be wide enough for 9.5" tires.

Whatever you do, I'd recommend that you get them someplace that you can try them on and make sure they fit.

I have the same question.

I need new tires and really want the old standard
BFG AT 31 10.5 15

I willing to do the necessary trimming and im ready to buy the frankinlift now.

I am leaning to the

3975813 15X8 5X4.5 +6 4 3/4"bs Cragar Soft 8 black.

Has anyone actually tried this rim?????

Wouldn't that be 1.5" push? Or is there more to it than 5.5" minus 4"?

I need to pick my rims first - 3 week lead time to get them in Hawaii

Well the best I can figure is

with a 8 in rim vs 7 add 1 inch

with a 4 3/4 back space vs 5 1/2 add 3/4 inch

with a 10.5 tire vs a 9.5 add 1/2 inch

Grand Total 2 1/4 sticking out more

Taking into consideration the tight wheel wells = major cutting even witha lift

But Im ready to go for it

Tax Returns + need new tires + Just about out of warranty = Time to do it

Living in Hawaii is rough on shipping

Frankinlift 775
Ship 300

Front Hitch 145
Ship 75

3975813 Cragar
75 x 4 300
inc ship

Costco BFG AT
130 x4 520

Total 2115 plus some tax Ouch - But got to do it sometime

Going from 7" to 8" adds a full inch, because the backspacing is measured from the inside of the rim.
