I thought I would bring this question here to see if anyone has experienced this.

recently after my trip to sugar hill I began to notice a vibration coming from the engine compartment
I cannot pinpoint the origin yet however my question is what are some things that may cause such a vibration. I feel it in the steering and In the seat and pedals. It's a constant vibration that isn't affected by rpm or rate of speed. (same intensity standing still and going 60)

Could it be some dried mud on a fan or pulley knocking it out of balance?

any info would be appreciated!

Any chance there is a sound to it? Check your exhaust system to see if something has wiggled loose.

Look on the inside of your rims.

Rims are clean, that wouldn't effect vibrations at idle anyway

I'll look at my exhaust but it's buttoned up pretty tight
thanks for the suggestions

I'm sure you've thought about this, but how are your spark plugs?

I'd go back and check the gap since it's an easy job.

Same vibration if you are in park and raise the RPMS?

Only thing I've ever had knocked loose was the "boot" that on the steering column connected to the firewall. I could have sworn I was feeling a slight vibration from that. Snapped right back into place when I addressed it.

Correct, I wish there was a way to show everyone what it's doing but there isn't

what's the proper gap supposed to be?
