After getting stuck this weekend in about 3 feet of mud I finally got pulled out. (It took two jeep cherokee's to get the libby out of that mess)

Ayways I got all the mud off of everywhere and everything seemed to go ok but now when I press on the brake the back windshield wiper comes on - its just intermittent. All the lights are ok and everything else is working fine just the back windshield wiper and the brake seemed to have made this bond. Any body have any ideas on this one?

I WOULD SAY IT'S BROKEN.

Sounds like a great trick to do to a newlyweds car. If you find the answer let me know so I can repeat the process on some of my freinds cars when they get married.

I'm going to guess that the windshield wiper motor and the rear brake lights share a ground and one of the lights has a bad ground and it is back feeding through the wiper motor wiring. Check the ground on your lights and make sure that they are good.

Yep that did it - loose ground.

before I fixed it though I stuck a cutout of a hand on it so my jeep was waving to everybody when I stopped, I got a few honks from it

Thanks
