Yes. 235/70/16 come stock. Your 2008 likely has sagged so you would benift from new shocks and springs.

I'm planning on doing 235/75/16's on my 08 KK, been trying to decide on what to run while I save for a JBA lift and a few other goodies later this fall (thankfully a good friend does wholesale tires and is giving the family discount or I would have just went ahead and gone with a crappy lift and larger tires). Finally settled on Hercules Terra Track 2's on that size. Figured it would be the best size to go with without a lift right now. As long as you aren't sagging a heck of a lot you would most likely be alright. Definitely could benefit from replacing shocks and springs as Benjamin stated.

when going with a 235/75 or 245/75, will you need to reflash the car for speedo correction for or traction control? will there be any issues?

Nah, you shouldn't have a problem

Not too much of an issue, but there is a slight difference. There's a couple sites out there that will crunch the numbers for you to tell you the mph difference. Here's a decent resource: Tire Size Calculator Hope it helps...

I run 245/75r16 all terrains with no problem. I did put the jba clevis spacer up front on mine to level it out. As far as the spedo low speeds are not an issue, around 65-70 its about 2-3 mph off according to my gps.

Yes, when mine reads 65 on the spedo I'm actually doing around 67 or so according to my gps
