A few of these bolts look either bent or not tightened all the way... I'd really appreciate if anyone sees anything clearly wrong. I should prob go down to the shop and have them look at it, but would appreciate advice from the Jeep Gods first.

In the pictures (drivers)with the bolt and lower shock mount it appears you may have the upper and lower shock bolt mixed up. The longer is suppose to be installed on the upper shock mount.

some of the pictures are hard to tell due to focus or being sideways (injured neck at the moment with herniated disc) so hard to look sideways! :)

But I would agree that it's possible the bolts might be loose based on the pictures. If you could get some better focused ones that would help.

NOTE: What lift kit did you go with and have you tried to look up the installation sheets from the manufacturer to go back and recheck the torque specs?

Thanks for responding. It's all OME parts. I did some quick searching and think I was looking at a KJ specs. I'll see if I can find KK specs.

Very interesting what you said about the shock bolts. I'm gonna be pissed if anything is broken because of a bad installation.

Since Tommud keeps suggesting I just drive the darn Jeep I took it on some pretty bumpy dirt roads by my house that have plenty of terrain for my suspension to get a work on. I was focused on any bangs I'm hearing and it's 95 percent the back. Sounds like I have a cooler back there bouncing around on bumps. It's almost a hollow sound.

Well I just dropped her off and before I did I believe I found most of the problem. The dang cargo tray! :furious: That thing makes so much noise I totally forgot about that. I removed it... Still dropped it off at the shop so stay posted.

I'm pretty sure Kj/toy is right. That def looks like the upper and lower bolts got mixed there.

You guys were right and they fixed it! Also removed the cargo tray cover. Now it's so quiet over big bumps.

Bolts are the same size just different lengths
so all of the noise was from your cargo tray cover
Told ya just to drive it  :ROTFL:

Correct. I didn't find out till this morning it was the cargo tray cover. I was like, dang this thing is noisy. Every time you go over a bump CLUNKKKKK CLUNK since I'm one of the many KK owners with the broken cargo clips that holds it down. Removed and problem solved.

Also, the shop didn't charge me a single dime. He was apologetic for getting the bolts mixed up.

It's nice to go over a bump now.
