Hi,

Just purchased my Liberty yesterday and I am looking at getting a set of crossbars to fit the factory rails. I have a set of Yakima Whispbars on my Legacy and are they great, nearly silent and almost zero change in gas mileage.

These are the ones for the Liberty. They are universal so the mounts are not made to fit the Liberty specifically, which is a good and a bad thing. I was curious if anyone has tried them and how do they fit?

I think I'd buy a Rocklizard roof rack before I paid that for crossbars for the factory rails. My :2cents: .

That price is a bit high. You can get them from wholesalers for under $300.

I have the Thule version of those and they work great. I have a westin basket and snowboard or kayak carriers depending on the season. No performance/fuel economy difference.
