As many of you know I care a bit about my gas mileage, maybe too much. I've been running the Autometer EcoMeter for a year and a half now. Worth every penny to me so far.

I've always been curious just how steady if I'm as steady with the throttle as I think I'm being. With all the readouts available, I'd like to increase 1 more m.p.g. with the ScanGauge What do you all think?

Not sure how you'd think the Scan Gauge would give you 1 more MPG
But with that said I like mine, most times its on RPMs, current mileage, also trip mileage and water temp. Switch it around some every now and again
last weeks trip to Eastern Pa from Ohio, this was somewhere around 500 mile into it and slowing back down after having some fun with a old TJ
Pay no mind to the 74 in a 65 MPH zone

I think it would help me since the EcoMeter helped. I would to know my exact throttle pressure.

Flat on the floor or nothing at all
You see my average on that trip and most times its right close to that
Thats running it wide open on take offs, entrance ramps etc cut it no slack at all
Watching every little moment would drive me up the wall

I on the other hand love watching my gauges as I drive. On my last car, I added a nice tachometer since it wasn't equipped with one.

You should get one just because.

Its a neat little toy and I've used mine to check trouble codes and clear them for other people. And it can tell some vehicles if its gonna pass emissions.

I need to get mine updated to the latest firmware and get it mounted up. Lucky for me the company is local

I used to have it mounted in my LJ

I feel like it's one of the few things holding me back from saving at the pump just a little more. The Hypertech programmer can view and get rid of check engine codes, so to me I'm most interested in the other features of the ScanGauge.
