Before lowering the craddle of 2in on my KJ CRD I know I need longer brake hoses but is there any other mods required? Does the Steering needs to be extended or modified?

The slip joint in the steering shaft only has about 2.5" of extension before coming apart, you need at least 1.5" of male end to be inside the female end(no my mind is not in the gutter!!) for proper strength of the joint. The mechanical fan will have to be removed or the fan shroud cut to allow clearance(which makes the fan useless anyways).Hoses and wires may need to be extended to include coolant hoses and intercooler hoses. The trans/t-case will have to be dropped the same amount as the cradle for driveline angles then you run into exhaust issues and trans cooler line issues. You will need longer swaybar links and longer cradle bolts which must be grade 10.9 or higher.

All in all not worth it.

I appreciate your opinion but I don't know where to start to go SFA and I have a big handicap
Because I don't live in the States but in UK so the difficulty to find the correct axles and their cost over here is Mega huge.

Agreed. Unless you're going to throw money at it, leaving the cradle in place and just doing strut/spring may be a better idea. Because the CRD already has a (slightly) lower cradle than the petrol model, it will also result in a less-severe CV angle, granted, the CRD is a lot more common in the UK, so that fact is a lot less novel for you...

Frankly, after putting a Frankenlift on mine (~2.5"), the CV angles barely look out of stock specs.

Dan
