Problem started about 2 weeks ago, air was getting into the separator causing me to prime the filter before I started or it would stall. One morning I noticed smoke coming from the electrical connector closest to the driverside fender, pulled the connector and it was burnt out on the inside and the housing side that connects to the firewall also had a hole in it. Ordered a new housing and filter but I cant seem to find the part number for the harness connector. In addition the new housing that I picked up has a different style plug, the one on the far side from the fender and the one under the filter were the same but the one that I need to replace has a different style than what is on the harness. So far google hasnt been much help so I was wondering if anyone has the PN somewhere. Thanks in advance.

After more searching found this: viewtopic.php?f=98&t=24616&start=240

Sounds like I am not the only one who has had an issue haha. I will just leave the plug undone for now.

FYI the wiring kit comes with 2 sets of wires (you only need to use 1 set); be sure to install the wires into the new plug head and snap on the blue wire retainer before splicing into your existing wires; disconnect battery; cut old plug off; spice in new wires matching size as closely as possible not color with solder or quality butt connectors; wrap with good electrical tape. Reverse appropriate steps to finish.
