Welcome!

Do you have an engine light staring at you? Any codes? I would think you would with those kinds of issues - usually you'll get a P0700, P0731 or P0732 for general internal TCM issues, gear ratio errors in 1st and 2nd or a P0740 or P0743 for torque converter issues. If you have codes post them here so you can get some direction.

Bob

Hey Rob, thanks alot for replying! I do have the check engine light on giving me P0700 P0202 P0204 P0206. Its freaking me out sometimes the problem disappears and then it shows up; the jeeps driving becomes a pain literally.

Sounds like a bit more than your transmission unfortunately...

P0700 tcm transmission control malfunction,
P0202 cylinder 2 injector circuit malfunction,
P0204 injector circuit / open cylinder 4,
P0206 injector circuit malfunction cylinder 6.

I recently had some transmission issues myself. P0700 is transmission control module malfunction. It is a generic transmission trouble code. To get the trouble code from the TCM, it will have to be scanned ( at least that was the case on my 2005 with the 42rle trans)

Well my problem turned out to be that the transmission is over heating everytime it heats up i lose gears 1 & 2, so i ended up getting a bigger cooler for the transmission and its working well for now
