Hello, I been thinking. What causes wet sleeves to crack, leak, and get thin? Is it cylinder pressures, coolant, or what? Just seems like a lot of the wet sleeved diesels have problems with this.

Of course, the seals at the top and bottom of the sleeve will eventually go bad too.
