My new MOABs are crying as well, especially staring at the set mounted on the Rubicon.

I have them on my KJ right now. Ride quality is nice, but damned if they don't rattle around like crazy. Then again, I have not tried to correct this with washers, but that was their recommendation as well.

My Frankenlift will be here Thursday, and I plan on putting it on Thursday or Friday afternoon. I have access to a lift though, so it makes things easy...

Just rememebr the spacers/washers when installing and you are fine.

37k on rusty coil lift with his rear shocks and it drives wonderfull still. I do get a squeaky sound from the rear which is the washers rubbing against the bushings. No big deal. I would rather have OME rear shocks but for the price this kit is the best bang for the buck for sure.

It has sagged a little, but works great. I would go with different rear shocks. I think I have blown one of mine.

This goes for the same as me. The only thing I would add is that I wheel my truck amazingly hard so I plan on steping up to the HD front springs in the near future if AL doesn't get a larger lift kit on the market soon.

If I do get a kit out, you will need a lift. So improve your existing lifts, and like I said, if a kit does come out, it will be at the end of the summer after I beat mine to death, and to get the 5.5 you will need to leave your existing 2.5 inch lift in place.

Al

I have about 30k miles on my Rusty's kit and it is pretty nice but, and this is a BIG but, I absolutly hate the way that the struts top out. If you get frisky at all and the front end comes up quick, you are rewarded with a loud "BANG!". Personally, I would rather the kit be 1.5 or 2" and have a little more droop travel than the full 2.5". But, I guess that is what you get when you only replace the springs and dampers.

Overall, it is a very nice kit once you tighten the rear shock mounts 37 times because the bushings are too small and the shocks will clunk when they are loose.

If I was going to do it again, I would go with either a full kit (future) or with a shorter sping but the cost is good.

I've had my rusty's coil kit on for ~45-50k now (1.5 years), the while jeep feels lose like one or more of the shocks/struts are toast. Anyone else have that feeling? Its either that or the 265/70 REVOs....
