My neighbor runs a performance business out of his house. P.T. Performance.

He's offering the Predator Diesel Performance modules for $475.00 + s/h.

I should have mine tomorrow, already ordered it. :)

Looks like his site is still under construction, but you can e-mail at john AT ptperformance DOT com to express your interest. He'll be looking for the subject line Liberty CRD Predator Module.

If this is not the forum to share this, please accept my apologies and move/delete as needed. Thanks!

Not good.
The SP Diesel module delivers more power, more features, and a in cab head unit which has a display. On the highest setting you're getting +90hp and +150lbs . I think you have 10 different adjustment levels including fuel eco mode and stock mode. Best thing about it, a company on ebay sells them for $500.

Good to know! Do you have a link by chance so I could check it out?

BTW, I love the sig... I got into a debate with some dude at a gas station who pretty much told me I was an idiot for trying to fuel up with diesel... LOL I made him come out and look, he finally STFU... :D

That's funny right there.......

My wife was filling up the CRD when a nosey customer shouted "STOP ! Don't you know you're putting diesel in there ?" My wife said "It's OK; I've been using diesel for 15k miles or so." The asssssshole just had to walk on over and see the green fuel cap and then Rebecca told him what "CRD" stood for.

I don't know if I'd use the term a-hole for him unless he was trying to be rude. He might have been trying to help. I hope someone would tell my wife she was using diesel in our mazda. There are only a few good samaritans still out there who watch out for each other. People are still finding out that jeep has diesels back, till then people will question and wonder.

Actually that Ebay seller you mentioned apparently has two versions of said module. One claim 60+ HP for $449.99 and the other claims 90+ HP for $599.99, can anyone explain the difference between the two other than price and supposed power increase claims? :?

My neighor found the Predator modules online for cheaper than his original offering. He's dropped his quote to $450.

I noticed that Predator doesn't have ANY instructions on how to install... It obviously runs inline to something, but also has two wires and a 4-pin plug on the side of it. John used to work for them, so he's getting instructions on how to install, and what accessories may plug into the module. Hopefully we will have a write-up coming soon.

One SP Diesel module is Stage I; it only adjusts fueling (a la the Predator). The other module is Stage II; it adjusts fueling and boost.

The only other module on the market that adjusts Fueling and Boost is the TS Performance MP-8; I'm working on a comparo on someone's jeep at present.

Even better! Can you post the link? How much do they charge for shipping?

I'd be tempted to get the Stage 2 going, play with boost and fuel feed, but for now I'm really interested in optimized performance and mileage. Not sure additional boost will do that. Perhaps I am wrong, I've been a few times in life. I'm sure there's more to come... ;)

I was just looking on ebay to post the link so you can check it out, but it seems like they are not offering any right now. Just wait a couple of days they ususally always have some on ebay. I think the company was called EGT or EGR, they sell diesel truck/vehicle acessories. I also called them to make sure the SP Diesel is the best way to go and if they really sell them for $500.
