TJKJ is just frustrated at his CRAPPY mileage. Ive been driving on interstate 90 140 miles from Eastern Washington to Seattle twice a week for the last four months and MOST of the big rig traffic stays in the right lane and drives 55mpg! They NEED the better mileage because of the cost of fuel! Im not endangering anyone.

I don't own a Jeep for mpg's,couldn't care less what mine get's.I just monitor it as it's a great early indicator of problems.

TJ, with all of your skills in building Jeeps, you should grab one of those dead CRDs and make a second FSA Libby? You would probably love the low end torque, and you would have enough sense not to let it blow up?

Seriously, can you fit that v8 hemi in a kj? I just wonder about the width and ease to service the upper arms... [edit] never mind, forgot you have SFA... [/edit]. I know how much I cursed when I replaced mine at crd, which I think is not that wide as hemi. Regardless, a hemi does sound interesting, only heard wranglers and few xjs doing it. How's a hemi compared to 2.8crd weight-wise?

It's about 100lbs heavier then the 3.7.The VVT versions will fit in a KJ just fine, shorter heads.
