Hi guys the Heat/AC blower in my crd o6 is acting up it only works at No 4 setting only and if i try to lower it cuts off any ideas suggestion to fix that or take one in the gut and replace with a new unit. If some one has blower replacement done then it will be helpful too. thanks.

I've seen this reported before take a look at this viewtopic.php?f=5&t=75784&hilit=blower+resistor

It was either on this forum or another, where there were pics to go along with some instructions. But a quick search here offers some food for thought.

The resistor is dead. See my posts on that link including the one with how to fix instructions although I lack pictures. Any decent local parts store should have the resistor or can get it but do insist on the resistor listed not the one that their "book" will say is what you need as the listed one is heavy duty.

Yes, resistor is bad. It's right behind your glove box. Should be a $20 fix. I will say be careful with your hands in there, I cut the crap out of myself.

Yeah, just replaced the resistors on both CRD's recently. :2cents:
