My wife and I got tired of having to fish for the seat belt latches every time we got in. I took a look and found the little plastic rivet gone. Chrysler loves to sell assemblies so I did not waste my time on pricing out new Seat Belt Assemblies and went for a cheaper but sound fix. I went through the isles of ACE Hardware and found nothing I would use. Since I don't speak Spanish, I did not go to the local Auto Parts Stores and ask if they had any of the plastic rivets lots of cars use.
What the one on my Wife's VW TDI looks like

Mine are gone on both sides:

Use the Grab Handle as a Third Hand:

Find a recycled shirt button from a worn out work shirt and sew it on with lots of button and carpet thread, if you can't get the needle through the hole, you need to quit and tie it up:

Fix done and no more Seat Belt Latch fishing. Also no big chunk of money going to Chrysler:

Vets may want to use buttons that display their branch of service.
