I was on the lookout for either a '89-'98 Cummins diesel (Dodge pickup) or the Liberty CRD. Both are pretty hard to come by. Turns out a police officer (mounted) in my town (Athens, Ohio) put one up for sale recently. He pulled his horse trailer with the Liberty. After some haggling, it is now mine, as of 6 pm tonight!

I ran my Merc on straight veggie oil. I will wait and explore the bio options for the Liberty before I dive in.

I have already learned from this site that I need a new resistor (fan does not blow unless on 4). I look forward to using your expertise, and maybe one day passing some of my own along.
