I've seen that plenty of people have.. The problem is, I vaguely remember there were a couple huge threads on nightmare experiences with them on JeepsUnlimited and JeepForum..

I guess I'm just looking for a little consumer confidence.. They have a couple things I'm interested in (namely the Skyslider cross rails / roof rails)

Thanks LOST!

I've bought two things from them and haven't had an issue at all. I bought their lift when I had a Patriot and now I use their crossbars. I've never had trouble with any of their products. A dealer in Charlotte actually uses their products on Jeeps all the time.

There are lots better places to support and spend your hard earned $$$$
than RRO

Yeah I'm one of the lucky guys who bought his recovery system when he had that cyber Monday sale..

Can't wait for it to come in.

I am pretty sure that he makes roof rails but I don't recall seeing anything for us skyslider equipped folks. Definitely worth another look.

PM him. He's a nice guy and might be able to fabricate something. I know he's made a few custom pieces for those that requested it.

You'll hear a lot of crap about RRO but very few people have actually purchased from them. Others are just copying others opinions.

I bought side rails and a rack and had a good experience. Shipped within a few business days and the quality is as-expected. There are a lot of people who will repost other's opinions as mentioned, and that will go both ways.

After dealing with both RRO and JBA, I would buy from JBA when possible. Faster, more reasonable shipping rates, and better customer service and communication. I really like the way that JBA handles business over RRO, but I don't have an RRO horror story as a few have had. Just remember to take both good and bad opinions with a grain of salt :2cents:

My "experience" comes from friends ordering from them over the past almost ten years, folks on various Jeep and Toyota sites. If you really search the internet you'll find many many folks who have been given bad info or misfitting products.
One of the better ones was the guy on a Toyota site who had built up his rig over the years and then found a picture of it on RROs site as having all RRO products. Funny thing is, he never bought one item from them. They were just using his pictures to advertise their products and saying he had bought from them.

I have ordered from them about 13 times over the years on several different 4x4's and never once had a problem with them. The one time I had the wrong spring spacer sent to me I called them and they next day aired me the correct ones. There are several places to spend your money so take what people say with a grain of salt. It was said in an earlier post that most people that bash Rocky Road have never ordered from them. They have had problems just like almost every other custom 4x4 shop has at one time or another but that dosent mean they are bad company.

For me I will be buying from the following.

I will be getting my bumpers from ATThehelm and roof rails
RRO for my OME lift and possible sliders and some misc things.
Harbor freight for winch (my last one from them was going strong after 5 years of abuse with no issues)
still looking for the best place for skid plates.

Final thoughts: Don't be afraid to order from someone based solely on what is said on the web. Call them and talk them. Share your concerns with them then make a decision. I would apply this to any and all mail order places.

Do you really want,or should, trust a company that states a mid-'90's GM fullsize camber/caster knockout tool is required to enlarge the UCA holes(make them slotted) so you can get a KJ into alignment? All you will do is buy a $50 tool that will ruin your UCA pockets causing several thousand dollars of damage that you will get stuck paying to fix.

I'm reading their website now.it is talking about the lower control that may need to be modified and that the not all jeeps need this done. I am not expert on the liberty and can see how nice yours is but I still don't think they would put it out there if it hasent been done before and worked that's all.

The LCA's mount holes are already slotted and fitted with cam bolts. That tool they try and sell you is for only for GM's before they made cam bolts stock on there UCA's.

People will find any reason to hate RRO. If you don't like who they are or what they sell.. Don't buy from them.

I would buy from them in the future.
