We had a couple dozen strings of firecrackers. Went on for a good while. I guess someone cleaned out Phantom on their last trip. :D

No firecrackers here.

Just a bunch of idiots shooting guns.

HELLO 2014 Year of the horse according to the Chinese calendar
It's good to see you,
my family said there was no way I'd ever see 1980 so I'm very happy to see you!
Also means 60 years ago my Mom and Dad were about to find out that they were possibly having a kid. :ROTFL:

Megalos, thinking about my parents that way - ugh! I know it happens, but...

Anyway, Happy New Year everybody! Had a nice, quiet but fun evening at a great friend's house for New Years. My wife made some awesome white chili, we laughed till we cried, his kids thanked us for coming over and helping to celebrate the end of what has been a tough year for them - just a good evening.

Now, here's to good things for you all in 2014!

Bob

Yesterday, I saw that Toledo Jeep and Detroit Jeep have two things in common.

When it's time to get off work, employees of both plants race out of the parking lot and on the roads like the government is about to run out of cheese.

As grandpa always said
" You can lead a horse to water but you can't force him to drink"
so......
you can explain all of the benefits of a well setup suspension system,
but you can't stop them from buying a cheap spacer lift
but when you get a PM 3 months later with them asking why they have a bad upper ball joint on one side and a busted shock on the other, and the rear shocks making noise over every bump ( they used the stock rear shocks) how do ya respond ............ :banghead: :banghead:
Me,.....I haven't responded yet....... :dizzy:

Just hit minus 7 here - on our way to minus 12 if it stays clear.

And you're gonna wax the KJ...? I'm just hoping to get to the self-serve wash on Saturday to blow off the salt and ice - before it gets REALLY cold on Monday after 6 - 8 inches of snow on Sunday.

Is winter here yet...? :furious:

Well it seems they have been keeping records for 140 years or so here and we're either breaking records or matching records for cold and snow amounts. Last year we barely had any snow at all
now 9 inches on the ground and 10-12 on the way
What happened to the global warming bit a few years ago??

Embrace your inner child and go out and play in the beautiful snow! I took Rafi sledding for the first time yesterday and today we'll build a snow fort.

I can say this because it's warmer down here and we have liveable snow accumulation.

I'm going out to shovel little paths around in the yard, making big circles, small areas cleared to look like boxes etc , just so folks will drive by and say " Man that guy is one strange ranger" :ROTFL: Oh wait they already say that since all of these Jeep Libertys show up every now and again!!
By the way its snowing really nice right now, 8-12 inches today  :pepper:  :pepper:
