Anyone think that an older jeep XJ snorkel would fit on a jeep liberty with a little loving?

I found one for $100 locally, apparently the guy has had it for a long time and is too lazy to install.

I know that the airbox is on the other side on a libby but if one could run the hose to the other side it might be possible?

No. Body contours and a pillar angle are different.

It might be worth checking out, holding it up and such and seeing if you could make it work. Ive been thinking of doing a snorkel and thought about the same thing.

Come on man, where is your creativity? It might work with minor mods, you never know!

As I know both vehicles very well, and have had both vehicles down to the last bolt, I can tell you honestly that there is no way that it would be worth the time to make fit. You could spend more time making the xj one fit than it would be worth, and it would still look like doo doo.
