Cleared off 12-18" of snow off our driveway and by the time I finished there was about 2" more new snow on it :banghead:

Between whats coming down and the blowing snow coming from the open field across the street we are getting at least 2" an hour. I've only seen one snow plow go by to open up a one lane area on our road and it's an emergency route!

Tomorrow should be fun as I head out to work!

Everyone stay safe and shovel smart.

Went out cleared the deck and concrete area in front of the garage,
45 minutes later covered by over an inch cleaned again, came inside looked in the mirror and over 1/2 inch of snow on the bill of my hat :ROTFL:

here is a song I came up with this morning after listening to weather reports, seeing all of the stores with no milk/bread Posted on Facebook :ROTFL:

Sorry for totally abusing the song "People Get Ready" but these made up lyrics have been running through my head all day and they wanted out !

People get ready, there's a snow a comin'
You don't need no snowshovels, just watch it pile up
All you need is faith that it will arrive
You just need extra bread and milk

People get ready, there's snow comin'
Comin' up through the whole midwest
Faith is the key, just get some extra bread
There's hope for all that we'll build a snowman
There ain't no room for those who have snowblowers
Just to look good
Have pity on those of us who have to shovel
For there is no hiding place against the big ole storm

People get ready, there's snow a comin'
You don't need no snowshovels, just watch it pile up
All you need is faith that it will arrive
You just need extra bread and milk

Got busted
I see those kinds of things every time I go down home,
they can come up with some interesting ways to have fun
almost as good as my uncle tieing our sleds to the back of his 40 Chev coupe and taking us down the road when we were 8-10 years old :ROTFL:
shoveled twice since this picture , fence to the right is 6 foot

Prof, I've actually seen some Amish kids doing that in Geauga County!! I travel in Lake, Geauga, Ashtabula counties and the Amish kids get pretty creative when it comes to fun in the snow :SOMBRERO:

Well, we're on the warm side of this storm at the moment - it's raining with heavy snow predicted by midnight. And the deep freeze after that. Oh, I just LOVE rain before the freeze :banghead: Gimme a foot of snow any day...

We kept it all over here Ted
Total for the last two snow about 15-16 inches or maybe a little more
hard to measure for sure with the wind but measured 4 places and got the average
Every County in Northwest Ohio is on Level Two or Three

Yesterday morning they were saying 8"-15" more snow was headed here. Tonight, it's still above freezing, not one flake has fallen (just rain), and we have less snow on the ground right now than we did this morning. I'm actually a little disappointed. :?

Like Ted and Prof, we just got rain till about midnight. Just about an inch or so fell it looks like after midnight - snowing now but not very hard.

One of those few times when NW Ohio got more than NE Ohio - with the flat terrain and high winds you'll have a lot of drifting around you, right Tom?

Like Prof, I'm kinda disappointed we didn't get more snow. Something nice about having a lot of snow when a storm comes along - when it's just bone-chilling cold without the white stuff it seems like a letdown

Keep warm - it's dangerously cold through tomorrow!

Bob

Just finished scraping and chipping the ice off the driveway with a floor scraper before the deep freeze hits again tonight! I'd rather shovel dry snow lol

Since I knew it was going to be brutally cold today, I went out and shoveled from the garage to the corner of the house nearest the road. I assumed that even if it drifted 3-4 foot deep I could get enough run to plow through. From the looks of it I just may have that much drifted

Its really rare that we get this much snow up here, storms usually go above or below us. Not this time ! Level 3s everywhere, They even closed the plant down where Larry works at up in Adrian Michigan and sent him home early last night.

Snowmobiler's were having a blast though, must have been 50-60 go down the road last night.

Tom, you need this....

Image

We got a tons of rain, then instant freeze overnight, 30* at like 11 pm, o* at 6 am everything is slick. We got lucky, the 4-6" of snow passed us by, just a dusting. It's 0* and super cold windchill, they are saying -40* windchill tonight. That's rough on my barn animals and me trying to keep them in water.

Soooo..

Before Front 19"
rear 19.25"

After front 20"
rear 20"

Got rid of the rake I hate so much. New rubber too, Coopper AT3's so far we like them!

So far 2014 is proving to be the worst year to date.
I am however extremely thankfull/gratefull for my health and job.
The only bright spot, 2 free Detroit auto show tickets for me and my buddy :pepper:
Is it spring yet?
Shoveling my big ars driveway, my neighbour that's 70 and 2 other HEALTHY neighbours that are just lazy, I have had my fill of this white crap.
No worky today, paid day off to :5SHOTS: since its a level 3 and operations is shut down.
Got escorted home by doughnut boy, apparently i'm a dumb ars for playing with my bike in the neighbourhood as quads and snowmobubbles go zipping by
