On my way home last night my oil pressure light went on about 25 minutes into the drive. it only comes on at stop lights when at idle, when I give it some gas the light turns off. I pulled over to check the oil level, it was good. She ran fine all the way home. Anybody have any ideas what this could be?

Would it be OK to drive with it for a day or two?

assuming it is just a bad sending unit, then yes it will be fine to drive a few days. But if it's an actual low oil pressure condition at low engine speed, it could indicate a big problem. Best to change it out soon, so you will know.

Ha, the first time it happened on mine I freaked and pulled to side of the road. Shut off jeep. It went away when i started it again so figured it couldn't be an actual oil pressure problem. Not comforting for sure.
