Whatever. Still under 5/100,000 warranty so it's Chrysler's problem, NOT MINE. :D

Thats good. If not I would recommend SharaDon performance. Hands down the best builder of a 545rfe. With an Edge torque converter.

Thanks to Swanton Auto Repair I got bent over, twisted up, handcuffed to a road grader and drug over 27 miles of barbed wire fence and then left fixing my own problems with the transmission anyways :ROTFL:

Shortly before it started jerking, I tried to pass someone and it just seemed to rev but not really accelerate. I just attributed that to the weight of the ice and snow buildup.

Ironically, I was getting MUCH better mileage just having TWO friggin gears!!!!!!!!!

This might have been a problem for a LONG time, just so gradually that I never noticed anything was wrong!!!!!!

Someone a bit more local is Sam Wyse in Ridgeville Corners. He's pretty good with Chrysler transmissions.

Anywho, the Jeep is being towed to Friendly Jeep tomorrow.

Yes I know that I bought it at Roseville Jeep *but* I don't trust their service department farther than I can see them. They have a great *sales* department, and will beat anybody but their SERVICE SUCKS.

Ohio folk, i put togather a trail ride for Sunday the 19th down near tar hollow state park.

anuary 19th, NEAR Tar Hollow State Park in Southern OH.

Meet at the Garages on Clark hollow Rd at 9am. This will be a mild ride designed fbut rainc oudl make it a little more tricky as always. Some harder trails avail. for more modded vehicles. 4x4 LOW RANGE is required. Must have safe tow points front and rear. You may encounter tight spots, and receive scratches and dents to your 4x4 vehicle. Woulndt suggest bringing a nice fullsize truck, but we wont turn anyone away. Vehicle must be tagged and insured as we will be driving public road ways and infact all trails are unimproved township right of ways. We will not be riding INSIDE of the park boundaries as it is stritcly prohibited. Legal Township right of ways only.

That will be a fun run. I've ran all of those roads when I lived in Jackson County, hopefully can get some of these Northern boys and girls down there sometime to show them what the hills look like
Have fun Donnie, maybe the next one you plan we can make it

What's up everybody?

Sure is quiet around here - ya'll begun your winter hibernation? I'm getting the itch to either have fun working on the Jeep or driving it somewhere and enjoying it. Can't make the event in Southern Ohio posted above - wish I could - but my sales season starts tomorrow so I'm going to be driving a lot just not the type of driving I want to be doing at the moment. I'm picturing some nice rocky trails, a couple of off-camber hills, great views of mountains and valleys, bright sunshine. Ya know, just what we have here in Northern Ohio this time of year :banghead:

Oh well, I can still dream right...?

Bob

No, but I wish I COULD hibernate right about now! :5SHOTS: It's not been a very good winter so far for me. Probably one of the worst! :banghead: As I posted before, my wife left for California in October to be with her mom who has terminal cancer and I had to put my dog to sleep in December. :( Now, last Friday my oldest sister passed away from complications due to kidney failure. She had been on dialysis for almost 5 years and I guess with the temps and snow we had last week she couldn't get a cab ride to her dialysis and SHE NEVER CALLED ME!!!. :banghead: It was too long for her to be without it and her body just gave up. Now I have to make all those arrangements since her estranged daughter in California isn't even going to come out. Aaaaaaand it looks like my wife's mother doesn't have much longer either! :banghead: My wife IS coming home Friday for a week to be with me for my sister's funeral, so I do have that!
Oh ya, my brother is in The Toledo Hospital, and his daughter is also iin the hospital recovering from surgery!

And the hits keep coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well if you all would ever follow me down home I could give you some nice views of the Ohio River, some off camber roads, switchbacks, water crossings etc and all on public roadways , just not well traveled roads. May even need to be winched through some areas.
Oh and along the way even several covered bridges to drive through etc.
If enough would be interested I could plan a trip this spring where we could camp out on the river etc.
Would be 5 hours from Toledo area, 2 hours from Hartville
So arrive Friday evening / run roads etc Saturday and early Sunday and then head for home 2-3 PM ???

Good grief - you're making it look like Job got off easy.

I hope things improve for you soon. I know it's trite, but hang in there as best as you can. At some point, it will get better. :|
