I have tried to stay away from this " discussion"
But for some reason some keep trying to drag me and some others in and not sure why?
I mean because I made a phone call for a friend at a Meet and Greet and had them talk directly to RL regarding a set of rock rails this is now a bad thing or that I have some sort of mystical powers? This was what 4-5 years ago ? I have also made calls to JBA and BDS to either get information or make an order easier to help friends I have met online. Yes I have friends at these places that I can call and get info, but I have no influence over them or the way they do business so why would one ask for me to do something about their business ? That confuses me.
If you have an issue with a business you deal with them, not try and get others to do it for you.
Throwing more gas on this post will not solve the issues some may have, it only separates those who enjoy working and driving their Jeeps. It makes a lot of folks go to other sites due to being tired of listening to the squabbling that does nothing at all to fix the problem that a few have. Believe it or not there are a lot of very satisfied customers and I know some who just got products just over the past couple of days and they are satisfied customers. But yet they will not say anything due to 3 or 4 that continue to fan the flames.
If I have an issue I quietly contact the supplier and work it out the best I can. I may warn others but I do not let it take on a life of its own and control me.

Think about it, the more you run over a dead cat, the flatter it gets, its not going to ever purr again.
So my suggestion is this thread be stopped, jeepologist keep working on whatever he thinks is best for him and everyone use their gas for keeping their Jeeps running, not throwing it on fires a quart at a time. It serves no purpose at all to keep rehashing things over and over and over and over and............................
The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.

Hey tommudd, how is the new front bumper from RL with my ordered extras doing on your jeep. Martin must have lost my address and delivered it to you instead. Oh wait you pickted it up from Martin over Christmas. It looks good that bumper with my ordered extras on your Kj don't you think :!:

And no wonder why you want to put a stop to this thread 8)

I think Tom summed it up. I poked my nose back in to see what has happened, and its the same rehash of the same thing, 5 pages of it. Only difference is, some people are not getting enough attention in their life, and are dragging more people into it. I bet the next stink will be I'm somehow connected, because I once got a fast email response from Martin, especially since I have relatives that live in the general area he is at now. Someone needs a tinfoil hat and diaper change.

Here is a news flash to everyone. Chances are, most people skimmed over part of this thread, seen the stupidity in it, and have not returned since. All you are doing now is beating your chest for just yourself. Some people have an issue with RL, then stick to the issue. Don't start bringing more people into it, all in the name of stirring the pot more. Hell, this thread is about like being in the special Olympics, even if you get first, you're still retarded! For the drama queens, take it to PMs, we don't wanna see your drama llama anymore.

Sorry, I don't have your bumper with all the extra you ordered or whatever you ordered
Mine is a stock off the rack bumper like he builds for everyone, I didn't order a special built one like you did
Plus I didn't pick it up from him over Christmas not sure where you came up with that.
Now if you wish to continue making accusations may I suggest you do it through PMs since what you are trying to do will not work here
Only reason I think it should be stopped is the simple fact it is getting no one anywhere at all.

So when you can't find a defense, you try to insinuate mental capacity. Maybe you've read my posts maybe your unaware. My deceased sister was mentally retarded. And a Special Olympian. We were involved with Special Olympics for years. To try and compare anything in this thread and those people and athletes, shows little compassion. And that lack of compassion for members here mislead by post of praise. And post shut down about bad business dealings. Have kept me posting . And yes PMing I actually found a pm I sent to someone BEFORE they placed an order. But other members assured them it was sour grapes. So money was sent but product wasn't.
Amazingly it is a poster in this thread.
Again go back to my posts
Sling that mud, but the truth is the way.

Here's how i know that bumper on your Kj was originally intended to be mine:

1- The 2 high-lift jacking point on the bumper is exclusively my idea as an extra and not Martin's and was to be integrated exclusively into my ordered Kj bumper only.

2- The rather heavy-duty winch seat on the bumper is also exclusively my idea as an extra and not Martin's and was to be integrated exclusively into my ordered bumper only so that it can accommodate my 12,000LB Warn PowerPlant winch.

3- i specifically ordered my bumper without the 2 integrated sports-lights and it also appears to be the case with the bumper on your Kj.

I have proof e-mail correspondences with Martin on this where it was agreed that the above two extras will be made exclusively for my Kj bumper only hence, the idea of the above extras came from me and not Martin.

Now what are those exclusive ordered extras that are exclusively my ideas doing on your bumper :?:

Hey Punk, may i suggest you go and pick your nose and then find a forum that specializes in discomfort, flushed down trolets, sewages and so-forth so that you can discuses your plumbing profession with them :-)r

Jeepologist seems to be a great character! Exactly the kind of person that has kept me away from lost for the better half of the past year. I remember a few years ago when all you really had to deal with was a bit of sarcasm from JL Rockies, boy have times changed.

Here's a picture of the bumper any of us can order from RL

Image

It seems to have Hi-Lift points, a winch seat and plugs to block off sport-lights just like Mudd has. Maybe Martin has decided to add these into the standard design just like Mudd recieved. You can see the photo at: http://www.rocklizardfabrications.com/Liberty_rock_monitor.htm top left picture under both 02-04 and 05-07 sections.

I don't see how it's Toms fault if he orders something and RL sends it to him before sending you something. It's not like Tom has powers over RL or anyone else for that matter. If Tom had 'powers' to make RL give him discounts I'm sure all his friends (Tom's) would have all the RL products on thier KJ's also.

Unforchantly, RL can pick who he send something to whenever he wants. Just cause he chooses someone over you does not mean that that person has the power to make RL do what they want. Mudd and TJKJ2002 are great people and help anyone that will listen to them when and where ever they can, when asked and they have nothing to do with how RL chooses to run his company.

I wasn't going to waste my time here again, but since your accusations continue please read the following ( also look closely at the picture 501 posted
Take a close look, a very close look, no even closer
See the two round holes that have plastic covers in them where the fog lights go, yes the holes that you did not order on your " custom one off bumper" Now how did your bumper get holes in it and delivered to me when you didn't order yours with them?
If I were you I would be careful, since your story of accusing others is starting to fall apart, others will soon see your follies

I know this isn't what the original poster or some commenters want to hear right now but... RL bumper and sliders literally just saved my jeep from what probably would have totaled it. Hit some black ice and slammed into a guard rail no less than 30 minutes ago. Walked away with a slightly bent bumper and a popped off flair. I figured since so much bad stuff is going around I'd share some positive.

Always good to hear some positives. I do need rock sliders, perhaps I may just order some to see how long it takes to get them.
