List problems you had with your JEEP CRD TODAY.
(This post is to create a list of problems people are having)

My power steering stopped working. Fluid was full. Then trying to turn the wheel, the Right side of the rack popped a seal.

Thanks
KJJET

1. Leaky head gasket. Cooling system always pressurized even when cold. 2. Thermostat stuck open 3. Power steering pump and pinion leaking.

I'm still fighting with a very harsh 2-3 shift most of the time. Other times it is smooth as silk. Doing a quick learn on the tcm makes it subside for a couple of weeks, but then it comes back. Replaced solinoid pack, fluid ATF+4 and Mopar filters with no change what so ever. Also inspected the valve body for bad seals and score marks. She runs like a top other than this issue which is driving me crazy.

Both of mine served me well, except the one with the Etecnos started a little rough.

1. Motor stumbles and loses power until i let off the gas for a few seconds. I guess this must be air in the fuel?
2. Cruise control does not work at all, not even the light on the dash when i hit the on/off button.

How warped is it, and who told you this? If it is .004 or less you can reuse it.

Ill call and ask. Because the warranty company denied my claim based on the vehicle being altered with larger tires. My head asploded.

#2 keeps failing? I'm still using the original Module P/N 56044671AA. Wondering if I should try the newer Module for the 5V P/N 56044671AC? Should not need to. But they may last longer?? Anyone try?

Thanks
KJJET

I thought I read that Etecno was looking into all the plug failures that have been happening. I would contact them and see if they'll send you a new one or four.

If it is less than 0.010" stud it and move on. Studs will pull it into intimate contact with the HG and block.

Found that the noise I was hearing was the serpentine belt idler pulleys are bad. I replace them at 96k and now have 115k. I don't recall where I got them, but I think they were crown. Replacing with OEM.
