Hello all,

I am having an issue with the liberty. I noticed an odd smell in the cabin and when I inspected the ground under my liberty, I noticed a red fluid (I am guessing transmission fluid). So I checked the transmission fluid and it is lower than I would expect but not too low to be dangerous. It was below the hot mark. So I went under the liberty and the stabilizer bar is covered in red fluid from left to right. Any ideas of what this could be or where it may be coming from? Thanks for any help.

Leaks like this can be hard sometimes since most of the fluids in the front end of a KJ are redish. Tranny fluid is red, coolant should be red, PS fluid is actually tranny fluid is red.

I'd be looking at the water pump area, when mine doo doo the bed I had coolant on the sway bar.

I checked the power steering, brake fluid, coolent, and transmission fluids and all seem normal. Upon ferther inspection I think it may be the trans cooler.
