A guy was selling a set on ebay, he said he had them for his KK but never installed before he sold the Jeep. I guess $100 isn't a steal, but i'm happy with it.

I would've jumped on them for $100 if they were in good shape, considering they go for a little over $300 from some sites.

I was also looking at amazon and the cheapest I found there was http://www.amazon.com/Liberty-Driver-Pa ... lack+bezel

or going to car-part.com which had them a $100 a piece.

Ordered some goodies.
One most people would like (no controversy), the other is kind of controversial (I have my reasons), with both success stories and horror stories. I'm my taking my chances so hopefully I'll be among the success stories. Can y'all guess what I ordered? (no cheating Lonestar LOST guys)
Also I should be installing my new (remanned) rack and pinion Friday. So hopefully my Jeep will be drivable this weekend.

Surprisingly no. But I may have just as many haters as if I did. I know one of our members had a bad experience with what I bought. But I passed my test yesterday, so I'm feeling lucky.

Not sure what else there really is. Cold air intake maybe?

What test did you have to take?

You added a daystar spacer to your JBA lift! JK

My first thought was something from RRO. Which i would be one of the non haters.

Nope. Not a CAI.
I had my final Pediatrics test. That subject is the only one to come close to kicking me out of the program I'm in. (It had really dumb clinically irrelevant questions, totally different than what we're used too.)

:frankie: Now there's an idea. But nope I just sold my old Daystar so I could buy this thing.

Here's a clue. It should greatly improve my off road performance. But at what cost? :grim: I was totally against getting this thing, but came to a realization after much thinking that opened me up to it.

I'm not sure. After I blew one my JBA ones, I had the replacement one custom made for like $30. The real pain with extending the lines was flaring the connection point.

I have no idea... Unless you were to add bigger tires and go with the always controversial treadwrights..

Unless you found a snorkel?

Winner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought a "dreaded lunchbox locker" for the rear. Only $250 shipped brand new. I had to give it a shot. I've been doing a lot of reading on them and people either hate them and had a nightmare story (ie. poor Digger) or they've run them for years and have had absolutely no problems, they end up lasting longer than the Diffs. I plan on replacing my Diffs in a couple of years, so I can't bring myself to buy selectable lockers for the 8.25 or the Dana 30 for that matter. Though I strongly believe that if you have the money selectable lockers are the way to go any day. I've also abandoned my future plans to re-gear since it would be a waste of money if I go through with my future plans for the KK.
I purchased a LOKKA (Australian version of an Aussie Locker since they can't buy Aussie lockers over there, weird I know  ) I'll keep y'all up to date on the success or horror that this evil thing may or may or may not cause.
(time to prepare for the onslot of, "you're going to ruin your Jeep, just pay the money and do it right.... :dizzy: )
I also bought some new 16x7 steelies. I'll post those pics up when they arrive.

I think most of us steer away from them is because they aren't the nicest on the street. You have to adapt to driving with one. Most people rather just avoid the hassle and wear and tear.

Is it going in the rear? Oh and congrats on passing your test. One step closer to having your career!

Well cool man I can't wait to see how it goes. I don't know enough to comment on lockers.

Good thing you didn't go with a 16x8 you'd have to hear about that too lol.

I know lol. I air down every time I wheel, and I'm affraid I'd blow a bead if I went with the 16x8's. Plus if I end up needing new tires before my big project I plan on going 235/85/R16. That would be cutting it close on an 8" rim.
