Some interesting concepts being brought up to EJS 2014 this year. What are you thoughts?

I've got my peepers on the Cherokee Adventurer! That's a great color and 33's are ample for the overlanding style/type of driving I do.

Overall, I was disappointed in the 2014 concepts compared to historical concepts. It seems that most of these concepts are nothing more than fancy paint jobs, minor lifting, and very basic (off the shelf) modifications.

Completely agree. I think Mopar was just trying to show what you can build with off the shelf Mopar parts. I'd rather see custom rigs like the FC and Gladiator, or monsters on 40s and one tons.

I do wish we had more info on the KL on 33s though.

I actually ended up digging for info on that kl. Apparently it's worth six figures with all the custom one-off parts. Since it's a dart platform, it leaves extremely little possibility for lifting as the suspension doesn't allow for realignment after lifting (or something like that). Plus in order to stuff those 33s, they added a completely new set of custom wide fenders. So basically the entirety of the suspension is nowhere near stock and you probably won't be seeing any other Cherokees with 33s.

Made me do some research on it too. Found this:
http://www.roadandtrack.com/go/automoti ... =soc_fcbks

Basically it proves what RRO said about it. They claimed that it wasn't feasible to lift the KL because of the lack of alignment adjustability, they never said it wasn't liftable. Mopar said the same thing. They had to throw a few hundred thousand into it to get a small lift and 33s. The CVs alone in a few pics I know cost over a grand. RCV makes a good product.
