I have been having a never ending issue with air in the steering on my liberty crd, I tore it down to check the lines, the pressure hose had been previously replaced and by the image in the shop manual its backwards. its in the lower port that should be the return line and the return line is in the pressure port. What would this do? or is the FSM screwed up?

The high pressure and low pressure ports are different sizes, can't screw it up.Besides if they were backwards you'd know it in a few seconds when the steering wheel starts wigging out by itself, instant death wobble without even moving.

I figured out that its different sizes, but the fsm has them backwards the top line is a return on the crd. I looked at my mother in laws gasser and the top line is indeed the pressure line.
