How's your KK doin with that sweet new engine :)

I imagine it's getting close to being done. The photos I posted on Monday showed both engines out of the vehicle. Their next step on Monday afternoon was to begin swapping over certain components like the valve covers and intake manifold from the old engine to the new. I bet they put the remenufactured engine in the Jeep by now and are in the process of hooking everything back up. I'll talk to them tomorrow and see how it's going.

Looks good! Moving along quickly. Pretty soon you'll be making a build thread. What bulbs do you have in your headlights?

 seriously? Do a search and you'll find some very dissatisfied people who have.
just saying this forum is to help answer questions and help eachother out all I got from this statement is it's been said before clearly I haven't seen it or I wouldn't be asking so again I ask again has anyone used rockyroadoutfitters outfitters control arms

I do not have any personal experience with the RRO control arms, but have been on this board long enough to know that some folks have had issues with fitment and build quality. This is not always the case for everybody, but it seems like a gamble to go with RRO when Al's A Arms always get such good reviews. I run Al's upper control arms with my lift and they work great. http://jeepinbyal.com/jeep-liberty-2008-2012-kk/jeep-liberty-kk-upper-a-arms.html[/quote]

Thanks man now that's the type of answer I was hoping to get lol

The H10 plasma leds gives out brighter, whiter light, but has a bluish tint when you're up close.
(my oem fog lights were throwing out yellow light)

Interesting. I figured that if they had any colour to them, it would have been yellow. Do you have any pics of only the fog lights turned on? I've been trying to find some H10 fogs that have a yellow tint to them. A decent set of fogs, that are made by even just a slightly reliable manufacturer. Lol. In other words, not off-shore. .

That Jeep is looking pretty wikked by the way. Another excellent piece of upgrade, made by AtTheHelm. You going to get some sliders too? Done any stereo upgrades?
Seems as though we are at similar stages with our KK's, and I'm feeling as though I'm starting to run low on pertinent (first hand) information for the upgrades that are left for me to do.

I'm just noticing that if you mix up the beginning, and end of our forum names - makes for some funny stuff. Lol

changed brake pads and used Atthehelm recovery system as a jack point for the hi lift.

this recovery system is the most versatile upgrade to a kk.

Thanks for the comments guys :D

@ whiterider, on the top pic, it was still daytime and you can see that the fog lamps are throwing whitish/blue light
brighter than the headlights. So far I'm happy with my stereo/sat/navi and sliders maybe in the future.
For now, my setup is mostly for sand and beach driving.
Btw, I agree we can make some cool names with both our forum names (I'll be knightrider lol)
