Is all the stuff related to "Wireless" here turned on:

ftp://ftp.dell.com/Manuals/all-products ... _en-us.pdf

What do you get when you check for the IP address using one of these methods:

Morning all!

Tom, those connection problems can be so frustrating. Most of the time it ends up being some security setting that a tech from your company put in there but it's buried and not easy to figure out. Is there tech support at the company you're working for? Since they supplied the laptop it seems it should be their responsibility to get you connected. I'm pretty good with computer issues but these connection problems can be a bear :furious:

I was just looking thru my Photobucket album from the trip to Windrock in Tennessee back in October and I've now got the itch to take the KJ off-road somewhere. But so much to do around here, plus a couple of lakes are calling my name to check out the fishing, there's a couple of songs I want to learn on guitar... I need more hours in the day!!

Anyone up for a Meet & Greet...?

Bob

Bob from what I seen they didn't give Tom the full login for the VPN. But otherwise his IT department should be able to figure it out and provide it.

Tom if you get it and still have issues feel free to hit me.

There's no way your going to get connected if you have no ISP.

Did you call an internet company to get internet service? That's what an Internet Service Provider is...;)

If so, just call that company and they will walk you through it.

:ROTFL:

Yes I have an internet provider how do you think I am able to get on here?
But its Time Warner and every time I call/ send messages to them they are about as much help as my 2 week old neices son, totally worthless and always have been.

Did I know that???:D. :sheesh: lol

I'm always on my phone.

So your having connectivity issues between your laptop and the router??

You do have WiFi turned on right? The little button on the top or side with the satellite pic.

I'd love to join in if you'd welcome a stranger. I have read this forum on and off for a couple of years and I've learned a lot from it. Every once in a while I pop down to the Ohio section to see what is going on and today I saw this! I live in Marietta and figured it would be a great chance to meet some of y'all.

I'll check back periodically today. Let me know if this M&G is happening and if a new forum member would be welcome! Thanks.

I don't know. How strange are you? :seuss: you may need skid plates.

You couldn't be any stranger than some of the ones that are already around here! Good to see someone else from Marietta, lived over in Oak Grove for 8 years , sister still lives out 26. But sure you can tag along, get to one of the M&Gs etc We welcome "almost" anyone :ROTFL:
Any pics of your ride ?

Thinking of a SR 26 road trip, up around and back and forth off the ridges out that way. I know some require 4 wheel drive. Plus hit a couple of the covered bridges etc
Anyone who wants plenty of camping etc if they want to stay over night

If you ever see me in down there stop me, black one is mine ( so you know what to look for)

I would love to do a road trip! Yesterday I had a needle full of meds in my spine though...so it may be a while yet.
