Well as of today, I start to piece together my lift. Just finished ordering from jba's site, a pair of HD 2.5" bilstein rear shocks and the bushings kit. :)

Also to add, if anyone is wanting to buy their parts for the lift now, I suggest to order the shocks now. Marlin just marked those ones listed above down to $87.99 each regular $145.99!

What are you going for with the lift (both heigh-wise and part-wise)?

Great question. After a long and agonizing search and millions of repeated questions lol... I finally chose the OME/Bilstein set up. I pieced together that kit and it roughly came to the same amount for the OME Kit. I'm doing the OME heavy duty front/rear springs with both Bilstein struts/shocks. I'm also ordering the strut spacer to put up front so I can get 3". I plan on having a level if not, nose high stance though (i don't like the rake). Also in the near future I will be buying the A arms, just not at this time..

I washed the 4lbs of pollen off my KK yesterday. I have a feeling it won't take too long to accumulate again.

I also got my clevis spacers in the mail the other day. Gotta put the funds together and order the isos and top plates. Then it's install time.

Did not read the post before question answered.

I couldn't tell you. I don't have a high lift. I don't see why you couldn't though

I filled up this morning and checked my MPG with the pure gasoline. I averaged 18.1 MPG which was all city driving. I think its slightly more cost effective to run pure gas. Probably better for the Jeep too

I filled up this morning and got about 17.8 on my last tank. I've been getting into the 18s mostly with a good mix of city and highway. It's nice to be able to stretch over 300 miles on a tank.

Where'd you get your pure gas from?

Just about every station here sells it. I normally get it at BP since it's close to my house. We have other stations such as the Kangaroo which sell it.

I didn't get it this morning since the BP had all but 87 octane unavailable.

You're lucky. I don't know of any gas stations near me that sell it.

Now all i need is a lift and bigger tires! Thanks Morgan for your amazing craftsmanship. Install was simple, took me longer to get the bumper off than anything

Today my wife and I went for a hike at the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education (www.schuylkillcenter.org) in Roxborough, in a less urbanized section of Philadelphia. It was gorgeous. We saw geese with goslings at a pond, as well as croaking frogs! The forest trails were full of well camouflaged toads that would jump out from underfoot at the last second. A great day for amphibians.

On Port Royal Ave, a little known city road / colonial wagon trail that is still paved with cobblestones. It runs up the western slope from the Schuylkill River to Roxborough. Who knew you could go wheeling within the city limits?

This is a steep slope, although the pic doesn't seem to show it.

A happy frog sunning itself by the pond.

Has anyone thought of or actually done this. I'm thinking of adding some flush mount led pods to my back bumper. Actually cutting out holes and mounting the pods right there with a switch for backing up or for aholes who tailgate me

Just be careful with the vibration and how you mount them. Our rear bumpers are pretty thin plastic, so the vibration will be horrific and will definitely affect the lighting. Also, it also might cause the screws to pop out. I think those flush mounts are more meant for all metal bumpers like ATH's, RL and ARB front/rear bumpers.

I ordered my isos and top plates yesterday so I can start my minor lift of the clevis spacers, isos and top plates.

I assume that I'll be following the same instructions as a full lift install, correct?

If I dont add back up lights to my cross rails I thought about that too. Was going to make a bracket of the hitch. They will be flush mount in the bumper but be sturdy due to being actually mounted on the hitch
