Just look up what a stock KJ or KK would take and thats it

Don't you mean a front strut is front strut? All joking aside, thanks Tom. I wanted to make sure I ordered the correct struts. Would hate to drop a couple hundred on them only to destroy months later.

No we have shocks on the front of the KJs and KKs , although folks call them " struts" they are actually shocks since we have upper and lower control arms . A front suspension with struts does not have a Upper control arm

Ok most of the parts are ordered or installed, currently I got JBA UCA, JKS front discos, teraflex front bump stops, 1/4 top plates, conduit nuts, OME med rear springs, long iron man rear shocks, OME HD front coils & Blistien front shocks. I think I may need some rear ISOs to balance them out. Hopefully that will get rid of my clunking problem otherwise I'll be redoing the LCA bushings. Good thing I bought a lifetime alignment so I can play around with the height as much as I want. Now I'll have to see if I can even get it out of the garage at that height.

I'm piecing mine together right now, too. So far I have top plates, isos and conduit nuts for the clevis spacer. I"ll be saving some money on expenses starting next month so hopefully I'll be able to piece more together.

She's due Aug 19th so I'm in a bit of a crunch to get this all done well before then. My springs won't be here till Monday so it's going to be next Friday before I can get it all installed.

I'm assuming I'm going to have to loosen the UCA again & retorque them once I get the new system installed?

I got bored & installed the rear suspension. Besides my torque wrench failing & stripping out a sway bar mount stud, it was pretty straight forward.

I do have one concern. I thought the OME springs & 2 extra isos on each side should net 3.5" of lift. I'm only measuring 2.5" of lift. Any threat to adding another iso on each side on the bottom this time?

Not advisable to install a bottom one's on the rear
Springs alone would or should of gotten you 2.5 inches of lift by themselves

Why would you want to loosen and retighten the UCAs ?? No need to

My rear sits at 21.5". Technically 2.5", but the the front gets the full 3.5". Stock the rear is an inch higher because of the rake. The OME econo lift levels out the KK.

That's what I wanted to assume but you know what happens when you do that. :-)r Thanks for your help.

My thought was the added lift would preload the UCAs but if it's not necessary you'd be the person that would know. Thanks for the help.

No problem. My rear looks like she's a little low lately. I gotta go measure again. Could just be where I'm parking at work since I don't notice it anywhere else...

All done with my pieced together lift but the wife may be on to me. She commented that it looked higher but I convinced her it was just because of the new parts & that it should settle down some.

I got out of the garage but only had an inch of clearance. If I get roof rails like I want I'll be screwed. It's a good problem to have I guess.

I'll get ya some pictures today but right now I think I may have to go back in & remove the conduit nuts. At full extension I'm getting contact with the ucas & springs. It was measuring at 22.5" on the fronts.

Here is a picture with the 3 conduit nuts installed on each shock.
Image

As you can see its a little nose high, measured 22.5" up front and the UCAs were hitting the springs on large bumps so they got pulled this morning. Here is how it looks without the conduit nuts
Image

Its now at 21.5 all around and no more hitting the spring on large bumps. I know as the front springs break in and sag a little I'll probably throw a conduit nut or two on to level it back out.
