thanks for the replies. the did turn out pretty well.
They originally had about 20-24" around perimeters that were varnish, middle of floors never had any sealant. Then I guess they just had big area rugs over that part. Once I sanded, the center stayed dark while outside got real light. I guess I could've sanded and sanded and eventually got them all the same color, but my wife liked the way it was, "added character" and was part of history so I just finished sanded and poly'd. It has a bunch of nicks, scratches, nail holes, etc from years that won't come out so it looks like a shiny old floor. Every one loves it so far so I'm good.

I've been looking at every car, truck, motorcycle, known to man...... Just can't decide.... I'm really good at finding them..... just can't decide..... from a Jeep Mail Truck with a 351 to a Honda CBR... :shock:

I THINK the KJ could go for a little longer when comparing it to other vehicles on the road.... BUT I'm at a good point to retire it for a bit and start to rebuild..... The Shell and Interior are exactly where I want them minus a 2006 Rubicon rim :lol:

.... So pull everything out and replace and have a new KJ for the new year.... HOPEFULLY....

That would be my " work car" then while I redo mine
Only want to replace motor/transmission/transfer case/ front and rear diffs
