Hello one and all.

I've owned two Liberties. One 2004 that was leased and turned in for my current 2008. The lease on the 2008 was due when Chrysler went under and they didn't really want it back. So they gave me several thousand off the purchase price. It had been a great vehicle, so I kept it. I've not had any problems with it, other than the broken Sky Slider roof.

Prior to the Libs, I had a XJ. Other 4x4's were a couple IH Scouts, and an Isuzu Trooper Turbo Diesel.

I'm considering a CRD for something to play with.

Welcome!

I had an '86 Trooper 4x4 gasser. Loved the truck, hated the engine.

I hope it is, because I just bought one!

I found no less than 4 of them for sale locally. Usually there's none to be had, or once in a blue moon one will pop up. I took it as a sign from the heavens.

I've owned a diesel before (the Trooper) and have been driving 18 wheelers for 22 years, so the ins and outs of diesels is nothing new. I had looked at the CRD back in 2005, so I kinda always had a desire for one.

The one I ended up with was the best out of the four. They were all $10K give or take. Mine is a 2006, $9K, 96K miles, sport with power sunroof. Needless to say, I'll be haunting the CRD forum.

Great! You will be glad you got one if you love diesels and and it sounds like you do!
Another Diesel Head! If you got questions, ask away, you will get answers here on this forum, lots of very knowledgeable people on here willing to help with any issue....most have been there, done that and speak from experience...
Their guidance has helped me tremendously since I purchased an 05 CRD a little over a year ago..... :SOMBRERO:
