I've read over and want to tint them with a couple shades of Rustoleum Lens Tint. I've been doing a lot of reading about it and feel comfortable in that aspect. Got the tint, and have the other supplies to do it coming from Amazon this week. My question is if it is possible to put a higher output bulb in the housing to make up for any loss of brightness. I'm only planning on doing 2 coats of the lens tint, but don't want to risk making it difficult to see during daylight. What about an LED bulb? Or switching to an amber bulb from clear?

IF ONLY there were clear housings I could buy. /rawr
