It was about 19.8 when I calculated with the exact amount of gas I put in. But that was a trip about 2.5 hours away with the trip out being mostly highway but the eco light hardly came on. The return trip was back roads where my speed was about a 50mph average and it stayed in eco mode almost entirely.

Changed my oil this weekend. Drain plug wasnt a problem, found the filter and saw a rather odd piece coming off the front diff and was wondering what it was for. As soon as I got the filter loose I quickly figured out what it was, a hot gush of oil came running down the thing. Really who's idea was it to put a funnel to aim the oil at you. Next time I'll remember to loosen the filter from the drivers side.

Glad you got it installed. You'll notice the biggest difference with Rev RPMs and when you stomp on the gas.

Changed oil... trying synthetic for the first time.

The mechanic found out the oil pan was leaky. Rust got it pretty bad and with my finger I made a huge hole in it (while it was off). So new pan. They had to dissemble most of the passenger suspension to change it. Will have the bill tomorrow, not looking forward to it.

Give it a few tanks to completely adapt.
I notice a big difference in just how it pulls when you're OFF the gas just coasting. The 1-2 shift will be greatly improved also. If you're easy on the throttle you'll see a 1 mpg difference.

I know that's a 4.7L throttle body, but what's the picture on the right of?

HVAC unit with a cabin air filter, I'm going to try and clean my evaporator coil at the same time to deodorize it and the filters should keep it from getting too bad again. There's a great write up here: viewtopic.php?f=104&t=41921

I don't have a cabin air filter either. No problems yet, but I'm sure it's much cleaner air to breathe when you install it. I know a few members have used that write up. Let us know how it goes.
By the way, let me know if you have any trouble with the throttle body. It was hard to find the 3 inch to three inch adapter. Got it at a speed shop. The throttle body also needed to be installed upside down. The adapter is a very tight squeeze, too. The three to three adapter is if you have a CAI. I have a 2.5 inch - 3 inch adapter laying around for a stock intake to 4.7L throttle body.

As promised got pictures of my Cube lights on JeepMonkey's brackets.
Still not the greatest once since they're from my driveway. But I am very impressed with the lights.

So turns out my KK will ONLY need $6,000+ in repairs  from the hail we had here in Colorado in June. I am very glad I have total coverage on it. But now I won't have my Jeep for two weeks, it has to get a new roof, hood and then a completely new paint job. At least it will look as good as new when it's done! :D

The connector locking tabs broke when I was trying to install it. :furious: None of the local junkyards have just the connector either, but at least mopar has a connector repair kit for it. Right now it's being held in with rubber bands.

Anyways, I think it can be installed right side up, the lower pin on the side of the intake manifold just needs to be removed. I have a 2.5 to 3 adapter, but it doesn't look that good. I'll have to post pictures later.

Filled up for 19.03 mpg. Mostly city, but a few miles were on the highway.
I'm gonna shoot for 18mpg if I do all city which would still be a an improvement over the stock throttle body.

:2cents: Just make sure not to weight down the back if your going to error on weight distribution error towards the front, I towed that trailer with a little to much weight towards the back and that thing was horrible to tow, it has to do something with these u-haul trailers or something lol

The double axle trailer pulled really well. I loaded the front with the heavier boxes and a queen mattress and had no issues at all with trailer sway. The trailer was also balanced well enough that the Jeep wasn't weighed down more than an inch in the rear. The trailer plus cargo probably was around 4000 lbs total. Using tow/haul and setting cruise at 60 on the flat, but controlling the gas pedal myself in hilly terrain, I got about 11.5 mpg between Philadelphia and southern Michigan. The KK is a very capable machine.
