I don't think the WJ is a viable donor. I believe it was mid 2008 and up.

Lift kit installed on Friday, still need to put the bump stops in but I just couldn't wait! They will go in this week. Absolutely love it!

I'm thinking the following 2008+ Jeep & Dodge models had 4.7's as an option:
Jeep WK Grand Cherokee
Jeep XK Commander
Dodge Dakota
Dodge Durango
Dodge Ram truck
Dodge Viper (V10 used same TB)
Chrysler Aspen

Looks good. I like the look of 245/75-16s on 2.5" of lift compared to the higher lifts.

They really do fit perfectly at that height. The install was....pricey. It was a more than what i paid for the lift, but worth it. I don't have the time or place to do it and since I bought the kit used, I wanted an experienced tech to put it in. Worth every penny!

Drover her around the land and never dropped into 4hi, awesome!

Changed the oil, filter, added windshield washer fluid, and wiped down the engine bay real quick.
Next on the to-do list is to clean the K&N filter, clean the interior, and fix my doors that I'm beginning to lose patience for. The driver's side door won't unlock with the key chamber, and the passenger door only unlocks 3% of the time no matter how many times you hit unlock.

New Rugged Ridge and Weathertech floor liners came in. It's great to have that extra coverage, especially over the middle hump in the back seat.

Aaaaaaand... just tossed down a deposit with Morgan for one of his SWEET ATH Flat Roof Racks! :pepper:

My a/c never gets used. Never idle. Coast as much as possible.
A great way to increase mileage is drive like you have no brakes.

Never idle? What are you doing at stop lights? You run them?

I'm not exaggerating when I say it's very rare that I'm ever at a complete stop...
By don't idle, I mean don't warm up your car or leave it on while you run back in your house or something, etc. There's no point.
When I do happen to come to a complete stop at a red light, I cringe at every second.
Extreme hypermilers shut it off, but not me. I have shut it off for rail road crossings before. Also I shut it off if I drop my girlfriend off and we are just chatting in the Jeep before saying goodbye. Also I shut it off immediately when I park every day at work. Time is money. It all adds up!

Yeah, advisable to shut it off then... hate to bump the shifter while you're "chatting" and knock it into reverse or drive.

Just filled my KK up - 17.9mpg - Probably 50/50 in-town and highway. Going to be going through a few things to improve that number as everything is stock on it (aside the tires).

I use the second spreadsheet template down on this page to track my vehicle's gas mileage:
https://drive.google.com/templates?q=ga ... og&ddrp=1#
It's nice and clean.

Same thing on Long Island. People constantly play with the gas, too much traffic, and too many lights and stop signs to coast. I'm talking a stop sign almost every block.
