Got a tracking number for my 4" lift rear springs after I ordered them Aug 6th. Manufacturer had to send the dies in for repair and they've been on backorder up until a few hours ago haha. Should be here Monday at the katest!!!

Got a free car wash today courtesy of Suburban Jeep Dodge Chrysler in Ann Arbor. :D
They have a coupon for a free wash that is good until October 4th, if anyone else from the area is interested. Download it from here:

My a/c never gets used. Never idle. Coast as much as possible.
A great way to increase mileage is drive like you have no brakes.
Never idle? What are you doing at stop lights? You run them?
I'm not exaggerating when I say it's very rare that I'm ever at a complete stop...
By don't idle, I mean don't warm up your car or leave it on while you run back in your house or something, etc. There's no point.
When I do happen to come to a complete stop at a red light, I cringe at every second.
Extreme hypermilers shut it off, but not me. I have shut it off for rail road crossings before. Also I shut it off if I drop my girlfriend off and we are just chatting in the Jeep before saying goodbye. Also I shut it off immediately when I park every day at work. Time is money. It all adds up!
Im in the city in California so there is no such thing as coasting in traffic lol
You can still coast in traffic. I've been in numerous traffic jams. When you're the one NOT rushing up and jamming on your brakes, you can suppress traffic behind you.
In traffic I stay off the accelerator and just let the engine pull me, maybe tap the accelerator if I have to. When you do this method, you can creep at like 5mph or so.

Same thing on Long Island. People constantly play with the gas, too much traffic, and too many lights and stop signs to coast. I'm talking a stop sign almost every block.

Coast to the stop sign...
If there was a stop sign every block from me, I'd lightly press the gas till second gear then coast.

Keep us posted how you like the lift since you frequent the forums often.
Now there are a few 4 inch KK's around.
I was thinking to myself yesterday... There are so many lifted KK's on LOST. Thanks, Tom! :ROTFL:

Well I can tell you that coming from my Daystar lift with DEAD shocks...she's a whole new beast and I don't bounce over crosswalk paint or sink driving through these windy WV roads.

The steering is the weak link. Gotta figure out the steering before jumping up to 6". As with the KJ, it'll probably be done with a cradle drop, meaning the same ground clearance as a 4" kit. Unless you go 33s. Then you'll get 1/2" higher than a 4" with 32s, or 1" higher than 4" on 31s.

That's up there. You're cranked up to 5" of lift. CVs are fine that high?

That's the rear, I'm at 22" in front. Going to wait a month for the springs to settle and adjust the fronts, if needed, back to 22" then get another alignment.

Oh that would explain it lol. I think the rear springs are supposed to settle and drop to a little over 22" Looks good though! I need to get my fronts installed and then play with the rear to see how high I can go.
